Himachalis, who are called naive, live life satisfied with the values ​​of life, family rites inherited from them and honor and respect while living in the traditional cultural periphery. It is also not that the Himachali people are devoid of materialism and the vices of life, but they are very less in comparison to the world's turmoil, frivolity, ambition and the growing excessive materialism. For some time the people of this peaceful region and also the Ab-o-Hawa have started getting eyes of the world. Now even here commercialization and materialism have started affecting the mentality, behavior and lifestyle of the people. Slowly, now the color of the world has started rising on Himachal as well. Human values ​​have started declining even in this peaceful region. Crimes have started increasing.


Incidents like malpractice, corruption, murder, rape, theft, cheating, dacoity and robbery are now becoming common due to which an atmosphere of fear and fear has started growing among the people. Recently, the massacre in village Samoh under Jhanduta sub-division of district Bilaspur has shaken the people of this area. In this heinous massacre, the killers crossed the limits of human limits and killed twenty-one-year-old Ankit. The killers cut two parts of the dead body and put one part in a closed sack and threw it at a distance of 150 meters from the house of the deceased. Ankit was a final year student at Government Polytechnic College Kalol. This massacre has created an atmosphere of fear and panic in this area. Taking action, the district police have arrested four people including a twenty-year-old woman from the deceased's cousin. After the investigation of the forensic team, sharp weapons have been recovered from the house of the accused. The police produced the accused in the court and the court has remanded them for six days. This is a matter of intense investigation by the police administration and only a long judicial process will reveal who the killer was and what punishment will be given to him, but the truth is that a normal and poor family has lost its young son. This illegal drug trade has knocked in the villages and cities of the state. In the year 2021, the State Police has caught a consignment of 14.9 kg while taking action at various places. Last year, 1537 cases were registered in the state under NDPS Act, out of which 231 in Kangra and 206 in Kullu were registered under NDPS Act. Illegal drug trade in this peaceful state is a danger bell for the society. This intoxication gives rise to these disgusting incidents in the society. Government, general administration, police administration need to take necessary steps in this direction with the cooperation of local NGOs and people. Heinous murder, rape, corruption, incest, theft, cheating, dacoity and illegal drug trade are not a good sign for the peace, harmony and health of the state.
